Terms of service
28 September 2026
These terms govern your use of Venuemapgo, operated by Georges Anthony Boum, 176 rue Angora, Dollard-des-Ormeaux, Quebec H9B 2G8, Canada. By creating an account you agree to them.
What the service is
Venuemapgo lets you build a seating plan on a floor plan, share head counts and a setup sheet with your venue, and give your guests a link or QR code that shows them their table.
Your account
You need an account to build an event. Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access. You must be old enough to enter into a contract where you live.
What you pay, and what it covers
- Building an event is free. Payment unlocks the parts you hand to someone else: publishing the guest page and its QR code, the venue setup sheet, the printed guest list, and count links.
- One payment covers one event on one date. The price is shown before you pay, and sales taxes are added at checkout.
- The date may be moved twice. After that, write to us.
- A payment covers a date up to two years after it was made.
- A few days after the event has happened it becomes read-only: the guest page, the sheets and the printed list keep working, but guests, seating and the room can no longer be changed.
Refunds
We refund an event in full within 14 days of purchase, provided its guest page has not been published. Publishing is the point at which what you paid for has been delivered. Write to us and we will arrange it.
Your guest list
You decide what goes in it. By uploading names you confirm you are entitled to do so and to have us process them on your behalf. We hold that list on your instructions, use it only to run the service, and never disclose guest names to your venue. See our privacy policy.
You must not upload information about people that you have no right to share, or anything unlawful.
Venues and people you invite
Inviting a venue or a helper gives them access to totals, a per-table breakdown and the floor plan for that event, never the guest list. A count link is a credential: anyone holding it sees those numbers. You can revoke either at any time, and you are responsible for who you give them to.
Acceptable use
Do not attempt to reach events that are not yours, interfere with the service, scrape it, or use it to send unsolicited mail. We may suspend an account that does.
Availability
We work to keep the service running but cannot promise it will be uninterrupted or free of error. We may change or discontinue features, and will give reasonable notice of a change that materially reduces what you paid for.
Nothing in these terms sets aside a guarantee you have as a consumer under Quebec law, including the legal warranty that the service is fit for the purpose it was sold for.
Liability
Except where the law does not allow it to be limited, our liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the event the claim concerns. We are not liable for indirect loss.
This section does not limit liability for bodily or moral injury, for an intentional or gross fault, or anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. If you bought as a consumer, Quebec consumer-protection law may set aside parts of it.
Ending it
You may delete your account at any time under Account. Doing so permanently removes your events, guest lists, room layouts, confirmations and share links, and cannot be undone. Payments already made are not refunded except as set out above.
We may end your access for a serious or repeated breach of these terms.
Changes
We may update these terms. We will change the date above and, for a change that materially affects you, tell you before it takes effect.
Language
These terms are available in French and in English. The French version governs. By continuing in English you agree to be bound by the English version, having had the French one available to you.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws in force in Quebec and the federal laws of Canada applying there. The courts of the judicial district of Montréal have jurisdiction.
